At his core, Dr. Joel Kahn believes that plant-based nutrition is the most powerful source of preventative medicine on the planet. Having practiced traditional cardiology since 1983, it was only after his own commitment to a plant based vegan diet that he truly began to delve into the realm of non-traditional diagnostic tools, prevention tactics and nutrition-based recovery protocols. These ideologies led him to change his approach and focus on being a holistic cardiologist. He passionately lectures throughout the country about the health benefits of a plant-based anti-aging diet inspiring a new generation of thought leaders to think scientifically and critically about the body’s ability to heal itself through proper nutrition.
One of the world’s top cardiologists, Dr. Joel Kahn has treated thousands of acute heart attacks during his career. He’d like all that to stop. He’d like to prevent ALL future heart attacks by breaking through to the public to educate and inspire a new holistic lifestyle. Now is the time to focus on educating the public to eat clean, sweat clean and apply cutting edge science to their lifestyle.

They say that the best defense is a good offense – and when it comes to protecting yourself from the coronavirus and the flu, that’s never been more true. There’s a lot of advice floating around on the internet – some of it good, much of it ridiculous. In this short video, Dr. Joel Fuhrman discusses how to keep yourself and your family safe – and why eating a high-nutrient Nutritarian diet is really the best way to boost your immunity and keep yourself safe from disease.
His conclusion and of many in this community:
Isolation will not totally stop the spread, only flatten the curve of cases and many millions will still get it eventually.
The virus will continue to circulate for over a year or two, this is not going to end quickly.
We can only protect ourselves by eating healthfully, we can’t totally seclude or seclude forever.
Our biological age is not our chronological age.
The elderly should be more concerned with eating right to protect themselves from heart disease—and the side effect is much greater protection against all infections simultaneously.

Dr. Todd Ovokaitys was first in his class in high school and won the coveted Bucky pioneer award. He was also at the top of his class at Northwestern University with the highest possible grade point average and after two years was one of 26 people accepted into an accelerated undergraduate and medical training program at Johns Hopkins University and Medical School. He then completed specialty training in Internal Medicine and subspecialty training in Pulmonary and Intensive Care Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital. He was assessed by a faculty committee as “the best of all the residents across the board.” He was inspired to move to California to understand energy medicine and shortly after the journey had a vision of communicating with the pure consciousness of DNA. This has resulted in co-inventing a laser based interdimensional platform which has numerous US and international patents granted in the areas of nutraceuticals, agriculture including cannabis, and especially stem cell biology.
He also pursues and provides training in the area of psycho-emotional medicine, getting at the core root of any condition, physical or psychiatric, that can offer lasting relief. These discoveries have the potential to be a part of what may revolutionize and personalize the practice of medicine. He is also the composer and at times co-conductor or soloist of the Lemurian choirs that create patterns of tones and information that can accelerate the expansion of consciousness.

Did you know that heart break can lead to heart disease?
Many die of heart attack with no plaque – and 50% who die of a heart attack have normal cholesterol.
Arterial flexibility is the key!
If your stress level increases it can create a tear leading to heart attack.
So we want to regulate stress levels- challenge is how we RESPOND to the stress in our life. HealCircles.org is a new social network to release stress, come join us!
A most contributing factor to heart disease in men is testosterone. But giving testosterone is not the answer, its that he is not making enough. Every man who has a heart attack has low testosterone.
High cortisol inhibits digestion, immune system and can cause high blood pressure.
Generally, a year and a half after a big emotional and unresolved situation such as divorce, child, death, job change, etc can lead to health issues if unresolved. Learning how to deal with stress is the key to heart health.
Key insight into how men and women can be heart health?
For men – Heart opens when you feel successful in helping others.
For women- When you feel successful in getting the love and support they need.
As a woman, if you are feeling unsupported, you have more adrenalin and cortisol and lesser estrogen and progesterone. Worst, the more women complain the worst it gets as it becomes a habit.
Key insight is don’t verbalize the negative but you can share the emotions. Just don’t share based on the expectation of change.
Complaining is a habit you want to break. We can even get addicted to complaining. The key is not to ignore the feelings, but share them with people who are not the target of feelings.
Women before menopause require 10 times more estrogen than men. That means women need to talk 10 times more than men to share their emotions! Women need to share their frustrations or disappointments to increase their estrogen.
How to share the right way:
“You know, the other day with this happened, I had a lot of feelings come up. It’s not a big deal but I just want you to know about it ….”
I was disappointed or frustrated … key is to add emotions as opposed to statements like “you don’t care”.
The key to any communication is to start with the phrase- this is not a big deal, just take it into consideration. Anything else, he will defend himself. Learn to minimize and speak emotions.
For men, when they get upset, this is not the time for them to talk to their spouse. The goal is lower estrogen and increasing testosterone.
She will feel like she is your mother or she will shut down.
When men talk about negative feelings their estrogen will go up!
Men need to do something that makes them feel successful. They need to forget about their problems to get their testosterone up.
When they do something they are good at their hormones go up, which is great! Men should not show emotions unless talking to a therapist who is going to analyze and support them.
For women, anytime they do things that they enjoy doing, feel safe doing, their cortisol and adrenalin will go down.
For men, anytime they do something difficult.
For men, retirement means 2 to 3 years to a heart attack, according to statistics. It’s very important for a man to do a job that they feel good about, overcome a challenge, feel needed!
A simple impactful change is to go on a “complaining fast”. Stop trying to elicit sympathy from others. “Poor me” is addictive, and releases the wrong hormones.
You want an attitude of sharing and letting go, instead of festering.
This makes a huge difference in lowering cortisol and keeping us heart healthy!
How we regulate and respond to stress determines our heart health.
Men and woman respond differently.
Heart disease in men is owing to low testosterone.
Heart disease in woman is due to high stress levels.
Stress hormone.
– Inhibit Digestion
– Inhibit Immune System
– Elevate Blood pressure
How can you bring love into your life?
Decreasing stress and cortisol levels.
For men their hearts open when they are successful in helping others.
On the other hand a woman’s heart opens when she is successful in getting the love support she needs.
Try not verbalize negative complaints to your loved ones. It raises dopamine which can be quite addictive.
The more the complaints the worse life becomes.
Men need high testosterone. Stress raises estrogen.
Any time a man has difficult challenge something he’s good at and enjoys doing he’s testosterone goes up.
Woman need balance in their estrogen and progesterone, stress increases testosterone.
A woman’s level is in balance when she does. something she’s enjoys loves and feels safe.
Learning to deal with our emotions and stress is the key to heart health.

Why has the war on Cancer failed? What is cancer, and what that means for true treatment of cancer and prevention.
Thomas Cowan, MD, has invested a lifetime researching into what creates Cancer and reveals it in his book.
It’s clear that the trillions invested in curing Cancer have failed–despite what the cancer industry wants us to believe. New diagnoses have continued to climb; one in three people in the United States can now expect to battle cancer during their lifetime.
Dr. Cowan tells us, the somatic mutations seen in cancer cells are the result of a cellular deterioration that has little to do with oncogenes, DNA, or even the nucleus. The root cause is metabolic dysfunction that deteriorates the structured water that forms the basis of cytoplasmic–and therefore, cellular–health.
Listen to this PART2 on Diet to Beat Cancer and other Cancer Prevention and Treatments.
Dr. Tom Cowan discovered the work of the two men who would have the most influence on his career while teaching gardening as a Peace Corps volunteer in Swaziland, South Africa. He read Nutrition and PhysicalDegeneration by Weston A.Price, as well as Rudolf Steiner’s work on biodynamic agriculture. These events inspired him to pursue a medical degree. Tom graduated from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 1984. After his residency in Family Practice at Johnson City Hospital in Johnson City, New York, he set up an anthroposophical medical practice in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Dr. Cowan relocated to San Francisco in 2003.
Dr. Cowan has served as vice president of the Physicians Association for Anthroposophical Medicine and is a founding board member of the Weston A. Price Foundation™. During his career he has studied and written about many subjects in medicine. These include nutrition, anthroposophical medicine and herbal medicine. He is the author of three books published by Chelsea Green: Cancer and the New Biology of Water; Vaccines, Autoimmunity and the Changing Nature of Childhood Illness, and Human Heart, Cosmic Heart. He is the principal author of The Fourfold Path to Healing, which was published in 2004 by New Trends Publishing, and is the co-author of The Nourishing Traditions Book of Baby & Child Care, published in 2013. He has lectured throughout the United States and is a frequent guest on health-related podcasts. He has three grown children and six grandchildren and practices medicine in San Francisco, where he resides with his wife, Lynda Smith.

James Maskell shares a single solution to the biggest challenges facing healthcare: chronic disease, escalating costs, physician shortages, care access and affordability, physician burnout, loneliness, and mental health.
In his second book, James Maskell shows how community–specifically group medical visits–can help us solve these challenges. A supportive community provides the context for ongoing healthy behaviors, key to reversing chronic illness. By advocating for and facilitating group visits, those who are passionate about health transformation can shift the collective focus to prevention and root cause resolution.
The Community Cure is a guide to group visits including how to run them, how to avoid pitfalls and overcome challenges as well as best practices for launching and facilitating a group visits.
