[00:01] REENA JADHAV: Hey everyone its Reena and its day three of the prolon diet. This one was a doozy so I ended up not sleeping very well and waking up at 3:30 in the morning. I started to develop sort of this little headache on the side of my head and picked up my phone went to the bathroom, try to put myself back to bed it didn’t work finally gave up. 4:30 in the morning woke up came down and got into the third day’s food. So my day 3 started at 4:30 am. I had the almond bar. I had some of the drink and I think felt a little better I was able to go back to bed and sleep for a few more hours before starting my official day. So it’s been a really tough day today headaches, I feel like I’m coming down with something and I don’t know if it’s the fasting flu as it’s called or if I really am coming down with something. So we’ll find out I guess in a couple of days if I do end up with a full-blown flu but I certainly feel like yeah I do not feel very good. So the menu for day three was, of course, the bar and the tea in the morning and the menu definitely comes down quite a bit. Two soups, soup for lunch soup for dinner, crackers at lunch with of course the multivitamin and the drink at night. So we lost one of the almond bars we lost the choc of crisps. Very Spartan I took a nap at about 5:30 because I thought I was going to have my head explode and so I actually just got into a little nap and luckily woke up. Got everything else organized and I’m here sharing my review with you so let’s see how tomorrow goes but day 3 definitely has been a doozy. I will say from a strategy standpoint of how do you manage things like headaches, things like because we run health bootcamps and of course, we get similar feedback from people who’ve been in a really crappy diet for a very long time. And then they switch to something of an intermittent fast which is what health bootcamp does they do have withdrawal. And I think one of the biggest things I am facing is probably a sugar withdrawal because while I do eat extremely healthy there’s still quite a bit of fruit sugar in my diet and there’s also a little bit coconut sugar in my diet on a daily basis. And so I’m given that this diet pretty much eliminates all of that. I’m sure that my body is going through some of those withdrawals and so what I did is I followed the tips for managing withdrawal from my own bootcamp and so to get through the day I definitely took the nap as I mentioned. Taking a nap in the middle of a withdrawal is a great idea to just prevent yourself from going in, having a breakdown, eating everything in sight. The water you drink that they have is flavored and has a little bit of sweetener in it and that absolutely helped a lot. Honey is a great way to sort of give your brain that little artificial boost and reassurance that life is fine and so the almond bar that they have albar has a little bit of honey in it. So what I did is I actually left a little bit in the morning and I chewed on it the whole day. I would like just take a little bite so that it would try to reassure my brain that we’re not completely fasting we are getting some food. So those are some of the tips water hydration definitely I had I would say including their packets of tea there’s the hibiscus tea which I really like and the mint tea I added another mint tea of my own to it. So having a lot of those herbal teas helped as well. So as you can see I’m crashing I am going to go to bed now and let’s see how day 4 goes. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow goodnight.
