Reena Jadhav, CEO HealthBootcamps, interviews Ursheet Parikh, Partner, from Mayfield Fund
Ursheet is a proven repeat entrepreneur and executive who brings 15 years of product and leadership experience to the investment team at Mayfield. He focuses on innovation that is redefining the application and infrastructure stacks in cloud, mobile, enterprise technologies, genomics and digital health.
Ursheet’s current investments include Cloud Genix, Mission Bio, Netsil, Qventus, Rancher Labs, Shiftleft, Versa Networks, and Zipongo.
Prior to joining Mayfield, he was a co-founder & CEO of StorSimple and then a GM at Microsoft. StorSimple was the leading cloud-integrated storage company that was acquired by Microsoft. StorSimple was the largest acquisition among the first generation of cloud IaaS/PaaS technology companies and has been highlighted by Microsoft as one of its most successful acquisitions. At Cisco he took the WAN acceleration product line from concept to $100M/quarter and market leadership in 2008. Ursheet also worked at numerous startups including Andiamo Systems which was acquired by Cisco.
Ursheet holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a Bachelors in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, from which he received the Young Alumni Achiever award in 2015.
