    Dr. Michael Chang, BIO

    Michael Chang M.D., CFMP, is a board-certified physician in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and a certified functional medicine practitioner since 2012. He has a private practice Healed and Whole Clinic in Sunnyvale, California (Silicon Valley) since 2017, specializing in gut and mitochondrial health/anti-aging. He welcomes online consultations. His interest in mitochondrial health started during his mentorship with Dr. Dan Kalish, who emphasizes this area through his use of an organic acids test. During that time, he went through a health crisis with severe leg stiffness and fatigue. By doing the same testing and treatment plan for himself as for his patients, he was able to quickly recover after finding the root cause. Dr. Chang’s goal is to empower his patients to be proactive in recovering their health and maintain it for the prevention of chronic diseases and prolonging longevity. Dr. Chang is married to his wife Cynthia of thirty-six years. He enjoys traveling, classical music, and the arts.
